ABOUT

Plan Room Temp Logo-White.png

The Plan Room is a fresh innovation that will provide Black and brown business owners with training, mentorship, and networking opportunities in a dedicated space and at absolutely no cost to participants. The goal is to provide tradespeople the technical assistance, skills, information, and resources they need to win contracts and improve racial minority representation in the construction industry.

A business accelerator, The Plan Room is designed for existing business owners who need help in one or more areas to achieve a greater level of success. By filling in knowledge gaps and providing new avenues to opportunity, we hope to help build wealth and encourage more people to pursue careers they may not have considered otherwise.

In addition to hands-on educational experiences for Black and brown business owners, The Plan Room will also provide mentorship, professional services, and networking events – serving as a destination for developers and property owners to entertain bids and invest in diverse companies. This hub will be available to all business owners of color, regardless of whether they have participated in The Plan Room curriculum. This physical space will also house shared equipment that all Plan Room participants are welcome to use.
